How does the IQ test work?▼
The IQ test consists of 30 randomly selected questions from a bank of 90, covering 5 cognitive domains: Pattern Recognition, Number Sequences, Verbal Reasoning, Spatial Reasoning, and Logical Reasoning. There's no time limit. Your score is calculated using the standard IQ scale (mean 100, SD 15). Taking the test is free, but unlocking your results costs $0.99 (single) or $2.99 (unlimited retakes).
How do I cancel my subscription?▼
You can cancel your Big Brain Pro subscription at any time through your device settings. On iPhone: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Big Brain. On Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Big Brain. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Is my data stored on your servers?▼
Most of your data (study progress, quiz history, notes, flashcards, IQ test results, achievements, and settings) is stored locally on your device. Only AI interactions are processed through our servers to generate responses, and we do not permanently store the content of those conversations.
What subjects are available?▼
Big Brain currently supports 12 subjects: Mathematics, Science, English, History, Geography, Computer Science, Art & Design, Economics, Spanish, French, Mandarin, and German. Each subject comes with its own specialized tools.
Can I use Big Brain offline?▼
Many features work offline, including reviewing saved notes, studying flashcards, using the focus timer, and viewing your stats and achievements. However, AI-powered features (AI Tutor, quiz generation, voice transcription, notes to podcast) require an internet connection.
How accurate is the IQ test?▼
Our IQ test is modeled after official standardized tests and uses proper statistical scoring methods. While it provides a good estimate of cognitive ability, it is designed for educational and entertainment purposes and should not be considered a clinical assessment. For an official IQ score, consult a licensed psychologist.
