DPC Developments ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Big Brain mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the App, including quiz scores, study time, features used, and app interactions. This data is stored locally on your device.
Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and crash reporting.
Purchase Information: When you make in-app purchases, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect or store your payment information.
AI Interactions: When you use AI features (AI Tutor, Quiz Generation, etc.), your queries are processed by our servers to generate responses. We do not permanently store the content of your AI conversations.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and maintain the App's functionality
Process your in-app purchases and subscriptions
Generate AI-powered responses and content
Improve the App and develop new features
Diagnose technical issues and fix bugs

3. Data Storage

Most of your data (study progress, quiz history, notes, flashcards, IQ test results, achievements, and settings) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This means your data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly use features that require server processing (such as AI features).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes. We may share information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For app distribution and in-app purchase processing
Expo: For app development and over-the-air updates

6. Children's Privacy

Big Brain is designed as an educational tool suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
